You missed the part about me not feeling necessarily inclined to explain to people I'm not close to...horuhe00 said:So what does it mean?
I like your tat. If I were to get a cross, I'd want something simple and classy like that one.Shannonkish said:The perpetual topic that never seems to die.![]()
I have a tattoo and I personally see nothing wrong with them both biblically, morally and personally.
As was stated before there is a scripture in Leviticus that has to do with tattooing, but it's about remembering dead people or something like that. There really is nothing wrong with it... it's just ink placed under a certain level of skin. Much like simply writing on ones hand to remember something, but it wont wash away (unless it's done by an amateur)HEMDA said:Well this subject is of interest to me. I have always complained bc my husband got one last year. I did not agree with putting it on his body! But had no concrete scriptures to disagree with my personal feelings...... Does anybody know any that relate to writing on yourselves
I prefer plain skin. I know what you guys are thinking..."we're not in the old testament now!" but I couldn't imagine Jesus piercing himself and going through the pain of having his body tattoed.
True that man. It's very easy for people to pick and chose which laws they feel others should live by.oldrooster said:Basically if you don't like them, don't have them....if you are going to quote Levitical law, you better live every part of it....that includes no pork or shellfish, never cutting your hair and when it is your wife's mestral cycle, you must make her sleep out in the barn.
