Tap Dancing?

Anyone else here tap dance?

I love it.. According to my dance teacher I like "boy tap dancing".. Such as different kinds of toe stands, flap backs, and weird fast steps all put together. I love 'em.

I also love to choreograph tap dances.. It's fun to have someone else do it too, but when I do it I can do whatever moves I want. Ya know? ^.^

I did tap for 2 years and loved it...my fav. thing was to do the tap steps while wearing my pointe shoes everyone else thought I'm crazy and that that must hurt but it didn't...

how ever I never was good at the shuffels they sounded weird when I did them

yes! I do and i love it!!! i take jazz but it's just not my thing. i'm more strength than flexibility so it's hard. i'm thinking about choreographing a tap dance to hip hop music or r&b instead of my usual big band music.

I tap and it is so fun. Whenever I'm sitting down, especially at school, I start tapping. Everybody always asks what I'm doing, and it comes so natural that I don't even know that I'm doing it until somebody tells me. I also take jazz, but I don't have a favorite.

Soldoutdancer, that'd be cool. I'm currently choreographing a dance to a Toby Mac song, I showed it to my dance teacher, and she was like, "O.O.. That's some funky music..." Lol..

ForeverDancing, I do the SAME thing! lol I'll just be standing there and people will be talking to me, I'll be fully paying attention to them, although I'll be dancing around.. Haha. Dance can TRULY become an addiction!

I've been Tap dancing 4 five years I also do jazz, ballet, ballroom, salsa, and swing. but Tap will forever be my favorite. My favorite thing to learn was the shim sham. I was tought that my first year and never forgot it. Anyone eles know it?

this is my fourth year in rhythm/jazz tap. i love it! right now my friend and i are choreographing our senior piece to "Black Betty."

and the shim-sham is the cutest thing!! doess anyone else know the blue bossa?

NO way! Same here! That is one of the best times to practice.
