You mean according to your interpretation of Peter through a scientific viewpoint, don't you?
At least I've got one.

What's your interpretation?

Legitimate question.

How does embedded age differ from last thursdayism?
In Last Thursdayism, the history is fake, just like in Omphalos, but Adam would not only have scars, he would have had "remembered" getting them.

He would have remembered his childhood days, what he had for breakfast, etc.

In addition, Last Thursdayism teaches that the universe was literally created Last Thursday (it now includes any day of the week, and can be called Last Monday, Last Tuesday, etc.).

In Embedded Age, there is no history.

The way you say that makes it sound like some kind of ghoulish non-euclidean nightmarescape out of H.P. Lovecraft. No thank you, sir! I'll take Damnation over that, and Oblivion over both.
"Take" what you want, you only get what I give you, you little mallow peep.

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Hearken unto the non-euclidean nightmarescape that greets you before I eat my snacks :preach:

IA IA Me Ftaghn :hahaha:

So, In Embedded Age, Adam has scars, but no memory of where he got them, because he never actually got them? God just "embedded" those scars because...?

There were no scars made --- I added that to my OP.

AV doesn't think Adam has scars at all, including a bellybutton.
Correct --- I happened to notice from Wikipedia that a navel is considered a scar.

I didn't know that.

Well then the analogy falls flat, because the Earth has some rather interesting scars of its own.
Not in Genesis 1.

The biggest geological scarring made by God, Himself --- by far --- is mentioned in Genesis 10.

There are scars in the Earth, and those scars are dated to millions of years before present. As one example, the K/T tektites were produced by the meteor impact in the Yucatan peninsula and they contain a 65 million year history of 40K decay.

Sure there is. Otherwise, there's no age.
Adam was, let's say, 30 (some say 20 --- it doesn't matter).

Can you give me an example of something that occurred when Adam was 5?

Not in Genesis 1.

Alas, there's a whole lot of scarring between Genesis 1 and now that the Bible is not able to account for.

The biggest geological scarring made by God, Himself --- by far --- is mentioned in Genesis 10.

Except that the scars were not caused by the event mentioned in Genesis 10, and the scars that would have appeared have not.

Consider... if Adam claimed that the scars on his back were the result of a fire, but anyone could see that they were the result of an animal attack (also noting the complete lack of burn damage on Adam's body), wouldn't you think something fishy was going on?

(Well... you probably wouldn't, but perhaps someone who was interested in the truth?)
