Just makes you think what he could be going through to try something like that.

However, his publicist says all that happened was that he had an allergic reaction to medecine.

Anyways, I don't pay much attention to the athletes that keep getting into trouble, they can kill themselves off for all I care.

I think there is more to this that hasn't been reported. In any case, it is always terrible when someone thinks that there is no other way out. Having said that, I can't say I'm really surprised at anything when T.O. is involved.

Dallas police news conference happening right now.....

Police saying that the official statement is this was not a criminal act and that it was a medical situation. They will not confirm or deny anything. They do not know how the previous information was leaked.

So, basically we learned nothing. What a waste of time.

I read it as prior to this incident he'd only taken 5, but that the bottle was discovered empty suggesting that he had taken ~35 pills.

Regardless I hope he's ok.

As an Eagles' fan, naturally I can't stand the guy. But it's obvious that this guy has serious emotional issues and has for a long, long time.

I don't like him, but I do pray for him and I do ask God to teach me to love him.

As for the suicide attempt, I don't believe it.

I was a paramedic for about ten years and transported literally hundreds of suicide attempts.

I can tell you from first hand experience, if the doctors have even a speck of evidence to believe that you're suicidal, they're not going to release you the next day.

In fact, if I remember correctly, there is a mandatory 72 hour observation period.

Whatever his problem is, I do hope he gets the help he so obviously needs.
