So, you've never made a bad choice and then made another choice to try to do the right thing? (Not trying to get personal.) Of course her mother encouraged her to go...that's what mothers do. Sure, going in the first place was not a very good decision, granted. But, when Jenna realized that her priorities were wrong, she changed her mind.
USIncognito said:
as I see it she either should have gone and played through or not gone.
I'm not unsympathetic to her plight, but I'm a viewer, I'm not her friend or family member and I'm concerned about her (and Osten's precidents) and the effect they might have on the show.

I already see it with Sue's quitting. The show is called "Survivor," not vacation. I'm sure Mike Skupin would have stayed in the Outback, burns an all, if he were physically able to.
You didn't even answer my question...you just reiterated what you've already said.

Comparing Mike falling asleep and falling into a fire and burning his hands...which was just plain stupidity and nobody's fault but his own...isn't the same as a woman being sexually assalted by a man.

You're not winning any prizes with these thin arguments. You do realize that don't you? :D

You do realize I'm not arguing nor trying to convince you right.

I have my opinion on Jenna M. and I stated it. If you want to get down to brass tacks, the whole Sue leaving issue should never have happened. In reverse chronological order.
- Jeff/Mark Burnett should have addressed it with her when it was clear she was effected by it.
- Sue should have punched Richard in the nads during the competition.
- Richard shouldn't have been allowed to compete naked.

But, a woman being in the "wrong" place when a man decides to be inappropriate in this manner is not a very good argument for who's fault it is.

I agree 100%. I hope she sue's him and wins. What he did was sexual assault and vile. I don't have any love loss for either one.

Unless a woman says "yes" ...it's a "don't do". ;) (and NO, her saying "I want this one" (beam) isn't the same as saying "yes....please rub your ***** on me")

I was actually hoping someone had heard more of what was said. I was in no way justifying what happened.

I have to disagree with Jenna Morosca. Her mother was sick when she signed out. She went with her mother's encouragement. Either go and play the game to honor her, or don't and stay to be with her.
I totally agree. Her mom was very sick and Jenna should have never been on the show. I'm just glad you she made it back in time to be with her mom before she died.

I'm glad Jenna went home to be with her mom too. Those are seven days she will cherish like no other time. On the other hand, she shouldn't have come on the show to begin with. Someone else should have gotten a chance. But, hindsight is 20/20, isn't it?

Osten last year just made me furious. I was glad he left. He never should have made it on the show either.

As far as the Sue/Richard thing- yes, it should have been addressed right off the bat.
I have to say that Richard playing naked was a smart move strategically because it disarmed so many people. Not that I approve of it, I'm glad he's gone.
Sue's personality was abrasive, but hilarious at times. I was surprised to see after all she had been through and how tough she is that this thing with Richard would be the thing to do her in. A real surprise for me.
I actually think she wants to go after the BIG bucks. Lawsuits can bring a lot more than a million bucks....
If Richard had done that to me, I probably would have kneed him in the nads too. ICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She wasn't facing him, and it happened on a beam suspended over a pit filled with water, plus there was another woman right next to her. It probably wasn't really possible to knee him. But yeah...I get where you're coming from. ;)

Here's the next show:
CBSP Mar 11, 08:00pm
Series/Game Shows, 60 Mins.

"Sorry...I Blew It", Episode #807.
[no description available]

Producer(s): Mark Burnett.
Original Airdate: March 11, 2004.

Hmmm, Interesting episode title. ;)

I agree with that last one wholeheartedly. It's bad enough that he paraded around naked, but he definitely should not have been allowed to be naked during the challenges. I don't understand why the makers of this show didn't see that one coming.

Well, Colby is history and the game has changed again! I"m beginning to think that Cat might win this whole thing. Remember before I said there were no women that I really wanted to cheer for? Well, I think I can cheer for Cat- she's smart and I like smart.

I also think Lex is kind of cool- that was a gutsy thing to do about Colby and I like guts as much as I like smart!! Boston Rob still gets on my nerves but it was nice to see a not so jerky side of him as they all partied on the yacht.
It will be interesting to see what the other tribe will be like when Cat returns!!

I can't believe Colby was voted out - GRRRR!!! This show makes me so mad.

I can't believe Shii Ann constantly complains about Jerri, and then when she has the opportunity to vote her off, she doesn't. I tell you, I had better not hear one complaint from her mouth about Jerri...:sigh: :D

I agree with that! I am not too fond of Shii-Ann. I liked Colby a lot, was very sad to see him go. I REALLY liked Rudy! I thought he was so cute. I love Rupert too. But I don't think he is going to win. I do like Boston Rob, but his arrogance does get on my nerves at times. I also like Ethan. My all time favorite player was Roger. He was so adorable!

Sorry to see Colby go too. He really was portrayed as an arrogent jerk this time around, but he did have the prettiest teeth there. :D

Lex is playing the game the way I think it should be played. I never could understand why those people talk so much about what they're planning on doing. Just do it. Don't talk so much that you sabotage yourself.

If Kathy's smart, she'll spin her story when she returns.

Yeah, Roger was great. Too bad he's not on this time.

Don't forget!! This week it's on

TONIGHT- WEDNESDAY

not Thursday!!

I almost forgot until I saw an ad last night!
I did forget!!! Luckily I heard on the radio this morning, heard the news, reset the VCR.

I believe this may be the schedule for a while, as CBS is broadcasting NCAA Basketball on Thursday nights.

Let us have a minute of silence for the loss of Ethan's fine self.

taps

let the wailing begin

Now, anyone else want to kick Boston Rob's butt yet? He just gets cockier and cockier. The best part of this show will be when he gets blindsided by his own arrogance and gets his sorry skinny little behind booted off the island!
I was really hoping that Jerry would eat it this week too.
Hmmmmmm. Interesting scenes from next week, eh? Something bad happens to Amber! woo hoo!!! ( what a good Christian I am, eh?)
And did I see a glimpse of past tribe members or was I hallucinating from eating too much rice?

Ethan is one of the few players who has been on that show who played with integrity. It was very sad to see him go. :(

Grrrrr.....Boston Rob  I really didn't appreciate him making fun of Rupert w/Big Tom. He will not win this game - I guarantee you that!

I think they're going to mix up the tribes next week. I think Amber and Rob will be split up.
