Subbing. Right off the bat I'm going to root for Shannon from Renton. I'm in WA and it's uncommom for someone from my state to be in. Seems like half are from CA most of the time!

BTW, they sure are hyping this season. I think ratings were off the last few seasons.

They're starting out with 20 people. Whenever they've done that before, they started with four tribes of 5. From the looks of the age spread, I'm think they are going to do old guys vs young guys again.

Looks like there's only going to be 2 tribes of ten each. I think that will work better than the 4 tribes did.

Wow... TX Russell is so slimy... what was with him pouring out all the water from all the canteens? Not to mention the fake Katrina story.

I think they're all annoying, but I'm sure some will become either more annoying or less annoying over time so I'll eventually find a favorite

Well, if you look back on the first page, she was my sight unseen upfront fave! I liked that she's from my state and isn't one of the young chicks.

As for Russell....Whoa! He's sexist to say the least and a lying, deceitful jerk! He really managed to get people to turn on Marissa for no good reason. He's such a manipulator. I wonder how long it will take for his tribe mates to figure him out?

The problem being that as folks figure him out, he targets them.

Its easy to see why the producers cast Russell for the show. What a jerk! Why would he take the socks from his own teammates? That's just cruel.

I found myself really liking the police lady, Betsy. She seems like she's gonna be good about reading folks. I think she'd do well to not tell people she's a cop.

I agree Suzy... she's one of the least annoying ones; only problem I have with her is why would she make an alliance with someone she doesn't trust? And yes, she should definitely stay away from telling people she's a cop. I like how when she was talking to one of the other girls, she said her feeling about Russell was "women's intuition" instead.

Betsy and Shambo are my favorites to far. I am surprised that I like Shambo, because when I saw her introduction at the beginning of the show, I thought she was going to be the first voted off.

Law enforcement is one of those professions that makes it hard to relate to other people who are not in the same profession. I hope Betsy can overcome that or she won't make it too far.

well, I just watched....if everyone's eyes aren't a bit more opened @ Russell during the first tribal council then they will continue to keep the blinders on....they may be letting him slide because they think they need his strength in the tribe....too bad they don't really know how much he is hindering them. He is like poison!!!
