Here is an interview with Jeff Probst about this season of Survivor. It's an interesting read, but might contain some slight spoiler information - so don't read if you want to be completely surprised on night one! :)

Woohoo!! Only about 4 more days! From reading the bios, I like the sound of
Bobby Jon (likes reading the Bible!), Ian (he has an awesome job and was raised on a horse farm!), Ibrehem (I love how he says one of his hobbies is eating), Jeff (likes horseback riding!), Jolanda (she's been through a lot!), and Jonathan (he's been through a lot too!).This may come back to haunt me though. Sometimes my predictions don't turn out how I feel later on!! lol I have to root for Angie too though, since we were born on the same day!

Seriously? It's gone to 10 now? That show lost alot of hype after season 3 I believe. Now it's just hanging onto the bumper of this idea and not letting go for anything. :\ The idea really got stale, in my opinon, in season 2. Then again, my opinon is a bit biased as I never even liked it from the first episode of the first season. Nor do I honestly care for reality shows in general. ;) So...unreal.

I'm sick of Survivor. I used to like it but it's just gotten old. It's been on for six years and 10 seasons (it was still the 1990s when the first season was on) and it's always the same thing: "16 people will be stranded on an island, will perform reward and immunity challenges, and will vote people off in tribal council. Oh, and there will be a TWIST that will SHOCK EVERYONE." It's just gotten old, predictable, and boring.

"Survivor" is the original reality show which everyone's trying to beat. I still find it fascinating to see how people react to situations they would never find themselves in their modern "real" world.

actually it used to be 16, then there were 18 the last two seasons...this season there will be 20, and 3 are going home on day 1.

Its always fresh because its always a different mix of people with new dynamics and new personality clashes and new friendships etc. I love survivor!! Die hard survivor freak!! wooo hooo!

I hope I do this spoiler thing right...

This is for the question of how 3 people go home the first night.

Two people go home in a game of pick'em like on a school yard, right at the beginning of the show. They never get to play the game at all, they just are not picked for either team. The cool part for them (the only cool part I guess) is that they get a 39 day vacation in Palau because they can't go home until the show is over! The third person goes home in a regular tribal council at the end of the show.

Thanks, that makes sense.

Couldnt help myself i looked at the spoiiler...that is cool. they sure never did that before. I was wondering what the deal was with 20 people and how they would split them up! Now i am kinda wishing i didnt look at the spoiler and just watched but i always let my curiosity get the best of me. Where did you get that spoiler from anyway?
