Survivor just doesn't seem to die. I am new and was looking around when I saw this thread and so I'm going to jump in. First off, HI:wave: . I'm a Survivor fan too and read through some of the last posts. I know I'm a minority when it comes to Ian giving up. I don't go with the he put friendship first and his integrity and that is because this is a tv show and the rules are---lie, manipulate, whatever to win. It's why we watch it. If it were real life then of course integrity comes first. JMHO. I didn't like it when Tom (never my favorite) kept bringing up that integrity, stick with your friends, etc. spew of his. I thought he was a hypocrite because he lied too several times. He manipulated with that kind of talk and it worked. That's the game but I was dissapointed that Ian fell for it.

Coby I thought brought alot to the show. If nothing else he was entertaining and once again that's why I watch it. The adopting a child? No, I wasn't real happy to hear that. Can't wait for next Sept. I hope they come up with some good stuff.

Regarding Guatemala and the Mayan connection, I might as way get this joke out of the way before the season starts.

I have a photo of myself at the base of, and next to the head representing the deity the pyramid temple at Chichen Itza. When I shared it with my friends, I noted that Kukulcan is the "only deity you can wear with a dress," but got few "lols" in return.

I guess since boas went out of fashion (except for exotic dancers) in the 1930s, and that many people don't know the story of Kukulcan/Quetzalcoatl contributed to a lot of my friends not getting a very funny joke...

... it was funny dagnabbit!!! :D
