so they're just talking out of small minded jealousy. you're still young, chances are they're gonna move on to other people soon and new bfs etc anyway.

middle school relationships are never really serious and NEVER last long and kids are mean. high school relationships are rarely serious and rarely last. even college relationships dont always go too far.

Well it's still a jealousy issue. And when someone doesn't want people to focus on their inadequecies - they put the spotlight on someone elses and try to make them feel bad (even if they're unfounded). She must be really insecure and lack self-esteem to be lashing out at you.

I've lost several friends since middle school and a few of them have said mean and hurtful things to or about me. I know how it feels.

Everyone has someone that doesn't like them but it's the people who like you for who you are that count.

i just hate that she's calling me "wannabe wiccan, 'gawth', rebel" and all this other stuff...IM NOT WICCAN AND DONT WANT TO BE! but they think that just because i am reading a book on witchcraft and wicca (from a christian point of veiw) i must be gothic and wiccan and all that other junk!

My daughter is in middle school and has had to deal with people saying hurtful things. I told her that you only validate what they're saying by giving them the attention they are seeking when you focus on what they say. If they can't get a rise out of you, they quickly stop.

Think of them like a gnat - if you focus on it, it will drive you nuts. But if you ignore it - it will soon fly away.

Not to go all religious - but there is only one opinion and judgement that matters and He's the only one you have to answer to.

Same...it all goes back to my Dad leaving my mom and I, then he died when I was 17. Then, in the same week I broke up with my first serious boyfriend I had a very hard time dealing with those two things at once and went through severe depression and the friends that I had couldn't deal with it so I lost all of them too. Literally. They were very mean to me throughout the rest of my school days and since then I haven't spoken to any one of them.

Life as a teenage girl can be tough. Life as a teenager can be tough period. Just be the bigger person and don't stoop to their level. She probably only wrote that blog because she figured you'd see it.
