  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So the gallbladder surgery went well today and I am home now. My girlfriend is staying with for the next couple nights to make sure i'm okay.

Please pray for the pain as it is almost unbearable right now. I have vicodin for the pain for the next three days snd I will alternate that with ibuprofen. I not planning on using all 12 vicodin.

Prayers for pain relief! I know well about post-op surgical pain. Take your pain medicine BEFORE the pain reaches a 7 / 10 on a 10 point, because it is easier to manage before it gets to crisis levels.

I had my gallbladder out last year so I know what you're going through..

as a besides your lucky they gave you anything at all for the pain, they gave me enough to get me through the 6 hour car ride home and one day's worth and that was it and I had to fight to get that much...

Just kick your feet up and get some rest... the worst is soon to be over. :)
