Got free tickets with the husband (my wonderful husband got them actually) and we went to see this, THINKING, it was supposed to be about nerds...it was not. It was foul and disgusting. The very first things it talks about are minors subscribing to porn sites!

I will admit, there were funny scenes, but sitting through this due to the fact you already paid may make you throw up...do NOT take grandma to see this!

Lots of people in this site seem to go into the theater not knowing what they're getting into. It's pretty obvious from the trailer and the rating what this film is going to be like.

Rated R for pervasive crude and sexual content, strong language, drinking, some drug use and a fantasy/comic violent image - all involving teens.

Do you even read the rating?

Anyways, this one looks hilarious and I cannot wait to see it, hopefully this weekend.

Superbad was hilarious. Yeah there were some pretty bad parts, but I agree with antiarte when he says don't see it if you don't want to. I laughed a lot!

Agree. Only I'd like to see it in the theater. I know it's not every bodies type of humor but I really liked "Knocked Up" and "The 40 Year Old Virgin", the people seemed "real".

I don't watch trailers, and I rarely look too hardly into the rating. If I see it's R, fine, if I see it's G, great, but generally they don't have that listed at the box office, or at least Regal Cinemas. The few things I did see didn't look bad, it looked funny.


40 Year Old Virgin has Steve Carrell, therefore it is amazing. I haven't seen Knocked Up, and I do know I am not personally too interested in it.

If you care about content you should watch the trailer or at least read the rating. At least have an idea of what you're getting into.

It was way more vulgar than I thought but every generation of teenage sex comedy is. Porky's < American Pie < SuperBad. I saw it with my kids (17 & 20) who thought it was hysterical. I like the parts with the police officers the best.

You don't have to watch trailers, I know there are tons of christian websites that you can read a detailed view (from a Christian's POV) on all movies- they tend to list out exactly what happens in the movies, vulgarity, nudity wise etc.

I haven't seen it yet but I really want to. I LOOOOOOVED knocked up and this one looks hilarious.
