A new forum for suggestions and complaints has been created:

You can offer suggestions, concerns, complaints (about staff behavior or otherwise) that you think senior staff should be made aware of. Only senior staff will be able to view your thread.

Junior staff may also submit issues for senior staff review here.

We hope this goes a long way in addressing concerns/complaints you may have.

There are a lot of forums to make suggestions or complaints in. This forum is specifically to bring issues to senior staff attention.

I think this is an excellent idea. And I've already assigned the link to my personal navbar for future reference.

I am also very grateful that someone had the foresight to make it private. In the past when I've tried to make a comment or complaint there have been so many superfluous posts made by the membership, that it made it almost impossible to be heard.

Thank you so much for this. I hope and pray that it will be used to the betterment of this site, for one and all.

I must say some of the 777 changes were good ones. I am as conservative as they come but some were indeed necessary. The ability of a member to have a thread in which to vent publicly should be maintained. This eases stress and inturn brings attention at times to areas which need improvement. It is also a wonderful management tool as other members can chime in and either agree or disagree. This allows the powers that be the means to keep their fingers on the pulse of this place. Conservative and old school is good and I am happy about returning. We must never forget some of the mistakes of the old system also. This way we need not repeat them and inturn blindside any further anguish...

I'm sure there's something I'm not getting because I have what sounds like a really dumb question. - If the threads are not open or public, how does the person making the suggestion know what action is being taken? Does it go back through PMs? How is that different from the way it worked before?
Does it work like the "Report Threads" idea?
