I have never seen that.
So you don't see how highly divided you've become with little compromise from either side? That didn't used to be the case. No wonder some people go off the deep end when they see two opposing politicians hug. The whole purpose of social media is to profit from all the opposing discourse.

You said that most people "get in fights and loot and burn and speak rudely to each other".

I asked you to prove that, you said it's in the media but never provided anything specific. I asked you again, and you're dodging it again.

Do you have anything to back up your claim or not? Stop trying to dodge the question by changing the topic.

Im sorry you didn't hear what you wanted to hear.
So am I - all I wanted to hear was your source for your wild claim, which isn't unreasonable by any means. I think it's pretty obvious now that you just made it up and have nothing in reality to back up what you said. So the fact is that "most people" do not fight and riot and burn things.

And the fact remains that the bikers in Sturgis are basically self-worshiping hedonists who care more about their bellies and indulging their filthy desires than they care about anyone else and hence they spread disease like rats.

North Dakota just had its first day with more than a thousand new cases of COVID-19. Previous record was 864, which was 4 days ago.

North and South Dakota are now #1 and #2 in per capita cases. Seems likely that in less than a week, North Dakota will break 50,000 cases per million, or ~5%.

6 days later and it's happened. North Dakota at more than 50,000 cases per million. South Dakota is the only (other) state that's higher than 40,000.

It's not magic or prophecy. It's just math.

And in related news, the North Dakota legislature decided they were going to redirect $16 million of coronavirus relief funds to oil companies for fracking:

North Dakota Wants to Divert $16M in COVID Stimulus Funds to Fracking

So, instead of using those funds to help people suffering with COVID-19 or helping small businesses survive the pandemic, the North Dakota legislature instead decided to give the oil companies a $16 million dollar early Christmas gift.

North Dakota to use coronavirus aid for fracking, education

Unfracking believable!

4 days later and ND is at 55,000, South Dakota has just hit 50,000 cases per million. Mississippi just broke 40,000 and Iowa is about to.

Well, North and South Dakota may soon be even less densely populated. For those people living in North and South Dakota, that's a good thing, right?

3 days later and North Dakota has broken 60,000 cases per million.

Monday is usually a light day coming off the weekend, but if Wisconsin has another 5,000 day, they will break 40,000 joining IA and MS. (ETA: 39,897 - missed it by... that much)

The question is, depending on the speed, whether the medical system can handle it.

Speaking of...

With North Dakota hospitals at 100% capacity, Burgum announces COVID-positive nurses can stay at work
In an attempt to alleviate some of the staffing concerns, Burgum announced that the state health officer has amended an order that will allow health care workers with asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 to continue working in hospitals' COVID-19 units. The Republican governor said hospital administrators asked the state to take the extraordinary step.

Coronavirus hospitalizations in US reach an all-time high with more than 60,000

On Tuesday, the number of people with Covid-19 at US hospitals for the first time topped 60,000.
The COVID Tracking Project, a volunteer organization that compiles data on coronavirus cases, said the number as of Tuesday was 61,694. That's 2,024 more people than were hospitalized on April 15, the previous record.
The United States currently averages about 1,661 new hospitalizations per day, the organization's data shows.

In Texas, the hard-hit county of El Paso has six mobile morgues and has asked for four more trailers, County Judge Ricardo Samaniego said Monday.

I'm afraid the exponential growth is about to bury the US. It's looking ugly all over. Today will be bad. Then there will be a weekend lull. I'm predicting Tuesday will be horrifying. And then it will get worse.
