I've been off work this past week and i've seen some stupid things. Do you ever see stupid things? share

1. Last weekend this girl i know in real life got mad at me for something i put on facebook. She posted this long rambling hateful post in response where she pretty much said everything i did and who i was annoyed her and no one knows how to talk to me b/c i'm a quiet person and so therefore she is right in her hatred of me. It was bizare. Even if what she did say was true and she has issues about me , she should have shared in private or called me or something. Posting that on facebook was just stupid and embaressing.

2.I went to Atlanta to the IKEA store. To get to this store, you have to get off of the interstate at an exit that has a "gentleman's club" or strip club at the corner and you drive right past it. As i drove past this guy was going in and he had to walk on this long sidewalk up to the door. He was covering his face with a towel the whole time. I was like um, if you have to cover your face to go in, you probably shouldn't be going in.

3. I also went to the Atlanta Aquarium. when you exit the Aquarium, there is a sea food resturant across the street, complete with huge plastic fish on display. It just seemed an odd place for a seafood eatery. "Let's learn about huge fish, and now let's eat them!!!"

LOL @ "gentleman's club." If ever a gentleman frequents places like that, I think the Earth would suck itself into a vortex or something. This may very well happen...

Hehehe... I had a similar situation at the Everglades. We were on this airboat, learning all this fascinating stuff about alligators and things of that nature. Then, on our way out, there was this "restaurant" that served alligator and frog legs.

I got a call from one of my prospective employers. I thought she was giving me my first one on one patient, after a slight interview on the phone since she did not show up in our agreed date of appointment last week. So I thought....

The course of conversation dragged until I was getting what she was trying to say. That I call two of her former employees to find out where they were, since these employees bypassed her on one of the patients.

Dang! That's none of my business.

I thinks its stupid that strip clubs are called "gentleman's club". Men who go to those places are FAR fromm gentleman like, in my opinion.

yep, When i was in college I went home with a friend one weekend and we drove by a "gentleman's club" and it said that on the sign. She was like "you won't find any gentlemen in there!!!"

I was watching "The Dark Knight" and a guy at the very front of the theater started to smoke a cigarette so this guy went down to tell him he had to put it out. Well the smoker was quite drunk so he decided that he was going to fight the other guy so he did. I was almost at the back of the theater when I saw this happening I had to run from the middle of the row down to help this guy hold down the drunk moron. As I was doing this a man literally one foot away just stared at us. So I got to miss half and hour of the movie talking to the police ect because no one would help the man out just ridiculous.

One of my coworkers was asking me about some data she needed to input in a spreadsheet. I kept telling her she needed to put it at the end in the last column. She said there was data already there. So, I go look at the spreadsheet and she was looking at the FIRST column at the beginning of the spreadsheet.

I was dragged along to a couple of them for bachelor parties when I was younger. (I never intend to do so again, even if I am invited). I wouldn't call the guys who go there either gentlemenly or mature in any manner. And that's what they are, "guys" not men.

A guy in an office at the racino brought in a USB drive in with a couple hacking type tools (from what I was told) and it put a red flag on the server that pushes the antivirus updates.
Good thing over the last month we set up nearly all the PC's with symantec clients that are controlled from the server! We'll probably catch more in the future.

When I was in HS, I actually had some perv at the beach try to video tape me when I was walking past him.

I was in the gym and I was listening to my ipod. I had the music very loud so I basically didn't hear myself.. The exercise I was doing at the time was very demanding and I started to make those sounds you do when you push something hard.. Normally I just breath properly and don't make any extra sounds, but because I couldn't hear myself I made incredibly stupid noises like I was "doing it" or something (similar to some prof tennis players when they hit the ball). I noticed it after I finished the exercise and people were looking at me and laughing... That made me feel stupid alright.

So - my ex-MIL called tonight. When I answered, she identified herself by her first and last name. I know her voice (and her name) by now - I was married to her son for 5 years..and she calls my house once every 3-4 months.

After I made sure she knew that I knew who she was - she proceeded to tell me that the oldest mancub is turning 7 tomorrow. Umm..thanks for the news flash...I didn't know!

If you knew this woman you would understand my frustration towards her.

One of the problems with strip clubs: they convince the guys that they are the hottest stuff on earth because the strippers are paid to say that kind of stuff. Then they try it on girls 10-20 years younger outside.
