One of the problems with strip clubs: they convince the guys that they are the hottest stuff on earth because the strippers are paid to say that kind of stuff. Then they try it on girls 10-20 years younger outside.

yup.. i used to have a regular customer a couple of years ago when i worked at the mall who thought he was a real charmer (who was old enough to be my father too..), i used to just cringe whenever i saw him coming over. honestly the sort of stuff he used to try and talk to me about it really wouldn't surprise me if he was from that crowd

i would have called security on him but the security guard was actually worse... boy am i glad to be out of there

So - my ex-MIL called tonight. When I answered, she identified herself by her first and last name. I know her voice (and her name) by now - I was married to her son for 5 years..and she calls my house once every 3-4 months.

After I made sure she knew that I knew who she was - she proceeded to tell me that the oldest mancub is turning 7 tomorrow. Umm..thanks for the news flash...I didn't know!

If you knew this woman you would understand my frustration towards her.

i probably would have played dumb and had some fun with her, and say stuff like

"Mary Johnson (or whatever her name is)? I'm sorry... i don't believe i know anyone by that name... I think you have a wrong number"

or

"really? Its my firstborn's birthday tomorrow? HOLY CRAP!!! why didn't anyone tell me??!?!!? i gotta go shopping! bye! *click*"

Maybe she wanted to invite you over, or--if your son is with you--she wanted to come and see him, but is too shy to asked? I don't read minds, but believe weird people be weird for a reason, especially when they get old.
I agree though that it is frustrating to deal with people who want you to guess what's in their minds.
