Sounds like an assumption. You say something is bad or good based on what? Because it seems to be bad or good. What does masturbation lead to that is good? What does masturbation lead to that is bad? What an action leads to is what supports the idea that the action is bad or good.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. In my world view it is not such a serious issue, you shouldn't feel bad about something which doesn't actually harm anyone else. It will also foster a greater understanding of things concerning your body.... enjoy

I think it's silly to call masturbation as bad. It's another false moral that has no basis of being even considered in the annals of morality and philosophy.

Every man knows how the sexual "urge" or whatever increases with time after last having sex or some form of masturbation. You can't ignore it, and if you do it will tend to make you aggressive and possibly more violent than otherwise. Many boxers actually abstain from sex or masturbation for up to a month before a big match because they know this will make them perform better in the ring.

For the sake of civilized society, we have the alternative of masturbation. We should be thankful everyday for this mechanism. Can you imagine how the world would be without it?

I am absolutely amazed at the amount of time people spend worrying about touching yourself. How can touching yourself be wrong so long as you are not thinking of molesting the neighbor boy or cheating on your spouse? What if the presense of mind is only to reach climax? Simple as that? I really don't think that the BIble ever condemns masturbation. (If I'm wrong, and there are CLEAR and EXPLICIT verses that prove me wrong, I would like to know what they are. I'm basing my belief on the fact that I don't think there are any such verses, but I am always open to new information. )

If I'm horny (and honestly, don't most of us find ourselves in that position at least occasionally?), there are several people that I know that would welcome a bit of casual fooling around. But I don't think that would be respecting myself or following God, so I'm not going to do that. I agree with Fate about not settling for a man that you know you shouldn't be with just to have your sexual desires met.

..masturbation, on the other hand, is a harmless alternative...and yes, can be a tension-reliever. At least that's my $0.02.

way I figure it, nature is a good way to judge if something's right or wrong.

example: Eating meat isn't a sin "because it's killing animals" Lots of things in natura eats meat.

So... look to nature... The chimpanzee for example. Chimps touch more than anything else on the planet.... that I know of at least... Friend of mine went to someone's house with a chimp in it. It was constantly masturbating.... CONSTANTLY.

They say he's "better now, used to do it about 9 times a day"... that they saw (however many times while they were asleep/not looking they had no idea). Now he's down to about 7 each day.

Now a person doing it that much... I think is unhealthy. But studies have shown that like every other part of the human body, your sexual organs need to be used to remain healthy. People who are completely abstanant tend to have more prostate problems. So, you need to.... be....refreshed every so often, and it's CERTAINLY against the bible's laws to just go out and have sex with random people starting when you hit puberty.... also at the age of 12-13 you should NOT be making a decision of who you'll spend the rest of your life with... so you can't get married and have sex when puberty sets in either. Only one other alternative, and the bible never really says anything about it.

SO, with the information we have now, it's natural and morally nothing wrong with it... UNLESS you're "coveting." Bible DOES say coveting another person's wife is as just as bad as actually doing with her what you imagine doing. So... obviously if you fantasies about going to someone elses wife/girlfriend and doing whatever you do... that's as bad as doing it.

On the other hand... mariage is encouraged in the bible. If you were to fantasies about marrying someone and then doing whatnot..... it's as bad as actually doing whatever it is you think about.... with... your wife. Which isn't bad unless it involves like...farm animals or something, and that's just gross.
