Dear Dad, The Human lifespan was shortened because Human blood was contaminated when the sons of God married Adam's descendants, and NOT from some split in the Earth. Here is the Scriptural evidence:
Gen 6:1 And it came to pass, when men (Adam) began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men (Adam) that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man,(Adam) for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
This happened on the Earth of Adam, BEFORE Noah came to this Earth, which you falsely teach was split physically at the time of Peleg. Will you continue to try to convince us that our lifespans were shortened at the time of Peleg, or will you bow to God's Truth? God Bless you.

AV, the debates between Aman777 and dad are legendary. No two creationists could be more dynamically opposed on how they reconcile observed reality with the bible.
Might not be 10 billion as soon as you think. In many countries, reproduction rates have dropped significantly. Japan is actually having issues because of how few young people there are, and the population of the US is only growing notably thanks to immigrants coming into the country. As countries begin to modernize, people willfully choose to have fewer children. The human population of this planet may begin to plateau. Not to mention that we are well overdo for the next huge pandemic. I have my bets on it coming out of India rather than China, because of the slower quarantine response.
