I don't know why I am so upset. I guess that it doesn't really mean anything, and I know that my fiance is faithful to me, but it still bothers me. He was downloading a volleyball game with only girls in it in swimsuits. He said that it is a good game, but it bothers me anyway.

I don't want to be all petty and everything, but this is just how I am feeling. He's been in a bad mood all day anyway, and I'm just tired of putting up with it.

Just pray for me. Give me some advise. I'm really just venting.


I have an interview for a full time position at the college I work at tomorrow. If I get it I can go to school for free. Please pray that if it is God's will for me to get the position I will.


One more thing you guys can pray for...(I really appreciate all of this)...I am looking for my father, Dale Gamble. I don't know how successful the search will be, but I would like prayer that my mother would loosen up a bit and help me search for him instead of just telling me he is a horrible person. He may be, but I would still like to know him, even if he will never be like a father to me.

Hi Autumn That's a tuffy about your fiance. How old is he, and is he a Christian? Sometimes guys just go for that kind of thing, they rationalize that they are not hurting anyone. But the truth is, it is hurtful to you. Often they will give it up as they mature and become more aware of their loved one's feelings, but sometimes they don't. I wouldn't end the relationship over this, but you must decide if it's something you are willing to tolerate. And I don't think it's petty of you. He should be more aware of your feelings, IMO. Definitely pray for God's guidance.

No matter what your father has done, he is still your father and you have a right to love him even if he is not a "saint", and even if he never returns that love to you. And it is possible that he is not as bad as your mother says he is. Sometimes people change over the years.

Thank you everyone. I really feel blessed that I can come here like this and get advise and prayer.

My fiance is a wonderful man and he is a Christian....he just tells me that games aren't really made without that stuff in it and the actual game (moves, technique, etc.) isn't bad. I guess if it were up to me he'd only be playing Nintendo games. Well, whatever, I just want to see him into God as much as he is into games. Not that having a hobby is bad...I just want to see him spending more time with God on his own.


I'm really nervous about this interview! :o I'm a pretty shy person and if I got the job I'd be working with English professors. (I'd be their secratary) Sometimes professors can be haughty and kind of nasty...

I know that God is with me, and if He wants me to have the job, He will help me.
