Strange resemblance?

My wife has a subscription to Time magazine. This week's cover is a B & W photo of the Dalai Lama:

She sees a vague resemblance to that Momo character that scares little kids. Is she seeing things? Maybe the long, narrow face?

Maybe she is seeing the distances between the features. The features themselves are very different.

It's not unusual to visualize resemblances

I suppose. The only features I see in common area a longish, narrow face and high forehead.
