Basic tenants of Critical Race Theory:
Race is a social construct with no biological basis
Racism and disparate racial outcomes are the result of complex, changing, and often subtle social and institutional dynamics, rather than explicit and intentional prejudices of individuals.
A key CRT concept is intersectionality—the way in which different forms of inequality and identity are affected by interconnections of race, class, gender and disability.
The idea that laws of the US are "neutral" plays a significant role in maintaining a racially unjust social order as color blind laws continue to have discriminatory outcomes.
The only way to end racism is to honestly confront it as a society and to stop race based policies
The end goal of CRT is to dismantle the idea of race altogether
