I have a question about robes. What do acolytes wear? Is that a Sticharion? And is what deacons wear a Dalmatikon?

And, this one is really perplexing me and I can’t find an answer online. Some acolytes/altar-boys/etc wear a robe that has like a rectangle stitched into it around the chest and upper back. It has buttons down the sides. Other robes are more plain, and just have the pattern and a large cross on the back, but without the rectangle “frame” or side-buttons. What is the difference between these two robes? Are they just different styles? Or is one of them not actually an acolyte robe?
