Do the lives of older persons mean nothing to you ? How young does one have to be for you to care about whether they live or die ?
It is not that the mean nothing. It is that the fact is that many times it is tougher for them to recover anyway. I know a lot of older people and common sense sort of says that their lives DO matter, but they also realize particularly once they are in their late 70s and 80s and up look I have lived a long life something will get me at some point. In fact, there are times that it is OK to be glad someone died. ( Not glad in the sense that yay they died, but glad in the sense that their suffering is over. In many cases, older people have conditions that will get them anyway and frankly they are ready to go. ( Not always.)

It is interesting when these political clowns put own their show this virus is so contagious.

But when i actually see this in real life, i see for an example. Across the street from my studio there is an office building of engineers and surveyors etc.. (where about 10 to 12 people work)

Who had an employee test positive for this virus, the only way he knew he had it. Was that at the office one day they checked temperatures and his was a little high, so he went and tested positive.

But not a single person in the office came down with the virus, so much for being highly contagious. And i have heard this over and over how one person has it but nobody else around them comes down with the infection.

At the school where i teach 4 students has had the virus, we did not shut down school and no major outbreak etc..
If we want to use anecdotes I have a roommate where covid ripped through his work and killed 2 family members, or a coworker that went to sturgis and nearly killed his father despite him never leaving his campground at the rally except to ride on open roads.

COVID is much more contagious than say the flu. It isn't on the level of measles, but its nothing to scoff at.
