Does this mean that Bees are part of the illuminatti too for they build their honeycombs in hexagrams?

God who created all does not seem to mind using various geometric shapes.

Bees build hexagons, not hexagrams.

I think the point remains the same. Bees must be eviiiiillll and we can no longer enjoy the honey. Oh no!!!!
There comes a time and a place where people just pass the point of sheer ridiculousness. It's time to get a grip. Sheesh

Your profile shows that you just began a relationship with the Lord this Year? In March?
Might I suggest you concern yourself with learning about Yeshua and Torah and not worry so much about what may or may not be of the occult? Deal with your own relationship at this early stage. It takes time to become grounded enough to teach others. You need time to learn yourself.

BTW, I was into occult things long before you were ever considered as maybe being born....(most likely, you sound very young, both physically and spiritually).

Can you show any evidence the hexagram ever had a good (non-occult) origin?

I can't find it but would gladly accept it if I found it

First Century Jewish-Hebrew Artifacts ~

The Messianic Seal found on clay jars and carved in stones, and artifacts, from the first century, has the Star of David right in the middle of the Menorah and the Fish:

Messianic Seal with Aramaic text: “For the Oil of the Spirit”

The burden is on you to provide evidence of pagan usage of the same BEFORE the first century but even if you can do so the fact remains that the Star of David was clearly used by early first century believers. However, please provide genuine image files and pictures of artifacts showing pagan or occult usage which predates the above mentioned first century collection … :)

People who are Jews in name only, then? I get you.

''Star of the Dawn'' (a.k.a. Luci-ferian) that ''other one'' is your own ''Atman''-scapegoat. Unless one allows himself or herself to be ''decoupled'' from that one the same shall in no way see the true Light ~

John 10:34-38
34. Yeshua answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35. If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

36. Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
37. If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
38. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Matthew 6:22-23
22. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

That ''other one'' is the man-faced anthropon mirror-twin countenance:

Isaiah 14:12-17 KJV
12. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, [heylel] son of the morning! [shachar-dawn] how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13. For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17. That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

Matthew 10:16-18 KJV
16. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17. But beware of the anthropon: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18. And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Heathen.

Actually the burden is not on him as he is not to be teaching/debating in these forums. He is not a member of the Messianic Forums. And any further debating on his part will be breaking the CF posting specific rules here.

Alarm bells rang as soon as I saw these images. You should know there is much controversy regarding these supposed relics. Here is one opinion:

The lamp was from the Late Hellenistic period (somewhere around the first century BC), before the birth of Yeshua. The bowl was hand made from the Ayyubid/ Mamaluk period (13th to 16th centuries AD), or Ottoman period (16th to 20th centuries AD). The symbol was etched on to the lamp which though earlier than the birth of Yeshua, could have been added during the Hellenistic period or any time thereafter. The bowl was typically painted with red pigment. The symbol was also painted onto the bowl, but in a slightly different color which appeared to be on top of the original paint of the bowl. Thus, the symbol must have been painted no earlier than the 13th century AD. However, it was likely added to the bowl at a much later time. It is hard to say where this symbol came from and what the motive is for its having been presented as ancient. My guess is that the monk was not altogether straight forward with Mr Schneider and may have created it. Although Hebrew Christianity has been around for some time, I understand that Messianic Judaism was revived only in 1967. Before this time I doubt that such a combination of a Magen David, fish and menorah would have been put together in such a manner.

I doubt it too!

Could you be any more condescending?
I'm not as young as you may think and I spend anywhere between 4-6 hours per day studying Torah and the NT. My relationship with Y'shua is flying along thank you very much.

I don't spend much time at all thinking about the occult (have spent more time than most doing that).
Just thought I'd throw out some info I thought important to gauge the reaction.

Interesting, to say the least!

Your mixing recent german and ancient greek together to try and support your point and it simply does not hold together.

Hexe [german-witch] and hex [greek - six] have very different entmological routes and meanings.

Yedida has a point- God is far better to concentrate on as God is the better way.

Yes, good point... you are right :o

But... it an interesting co-incidence that the hexagram is commonly used in 'witchcraft' (hex-craft). I am not speaking of 'wicca' per se but occultism in general.

Here is one of many excellent articles about the use of the hexagram in the occult/kabbalah/freemasonry, in case anyone is in doubt. The article starts with a quote from Dr. O.J. Graham's excellent book The Six-Pointed Star: It's Origins And Uses. Dr. Graham is a Messianic Jew, BTW, and started his journey investigating the 'Star of David' because fellow Jews gave him the heads up.
(Anyone who may be tempted to think my opinions are anti-semitic in anyway should take up their opinions with the many Orthodox-Jewish groups who forbid the use of the star because they know it's origins!)

For me concentrating on God includes concentrating on God's Word. The Bible is LOADED with exhortations to root out deception and to keep a close eye out for false teachings etc.

I don't see God asking for a head-in-the-sand approach anywhere. Y'shua was pretty clear about keeping our eyes wide open.

Should we ignore something because it rattles our cherished beliefs?!

Considering that western occult philosophy and practices are derived from a twisted reading of the Hebrew Bible and NT scriptures please try and take a step back from the modern meaning given. Remember your reading into this symbol your own current contextual meaning.

It is unwise to then generalise this and apply the same understanding onto the Hebrew people.

The article you provide a URL to is not excellent.
It is populist. It does not cite sources and regurgitates assumptions derived from other equally unreliable sources. No one who is serious student uses such asine sources let alone suggest it as a resource worthy of consideration.

Try reading the scriptures more widely your missing huge hunks of important stuff out by hyperfocussing on one recurrent theme of your own interest.
