Church Authority as Paul laid out of Scripture. The two are either Orthodox or Catholic. Unlike the fantasy that has been touted here there is only Church Tradition not multiple.
Orthodox, Catholic or Mormon (maybe Jehovah Witness)

Edit - Even if it was just EO or RC, they aren't the same thing.

Until the council decided there was nothing definitive. God used the Church to decide not Scripture
It was definitive even before a council agreed...

Its true because its true, not because a council said it was true.

You can leave the other two out of it, that is a red herring that someone introduced here. The true Church is Catholic and Orthodox

Nope. Up until that point anyone who converted had to be circumcised. After the Jerusalem Council circumcision was not a requirement, there was nothing like that before. The Church is not limited to a book but goes forward with the Holy Spirit

For you, not for a Mormon or JW.
They believe they are the true Church just a strongly as you do yours.

So the people Paul preached to were circumcised?

I have no idea, but many wanted converts to be and he argued against it. The only one that could decide was the Church through a Council and that is what happened

He argued against it because he did not practice it.

and they say you and I are not...
That doesn't matter, bringing them in and trying to equate them with Christians is disingenuous and poising the well. We should talk about Christians or not and leave heretics out of it. We don't bring Fred Phepls up all the time when talking about the Bible alone because it doesn't have anything to do with you all. Mormons and JW have nothing to do with over half of Christianity who are liturgical and accept Tradition.

That's fine, the Council still had to decide. Paul was not a modern day Protestant who did his own thing because he knew better. He took it to the Church

Why should they not be considered?

Because they are not Christian. Of course if you like we can bring in the kook protestant like Fred Phelps and his group if you like. You want to equate things of Satan with God when you keep up the junk about mormons and JW. You all want respect but don't want to show it back

To get a beter understanding of your position. Do you think Christians do not need to be circumcised because of the Council at Jerusalem or because Christians do not need to be circumcised?

Because of the Council of the Church, otherwise we would have to be.

I don't see why it would be disrespectful...
