Busy, busy, busy! Doing laundry and packing to leave for Finland tomorrow! Had a wonderful day with my parish family today. Morning Liturgy, then a picnic and now I'm spending some time with my dear husband.

Today, after DL, they went right into a forty minute vesper service. Nice service..stretched things into 2 hours, fourt-five minutes

Yea, don't remind me... They hadn't put it in our bulletin. So my husband had agreed to come with me since we'd be done rather early since in the summer we start at 9. Well, it was 11:35 before we were done and he was not happy as he had to get on the road and then go study for his simulator stuff. So it just turned into massive bickering (I was soo hungry from fasting and he was tired and irritated). I wanted to wait for the thanksgiving prayers and pick up my Chrismation certificate, but he just got cranky and we left. He loves to go but he just wanted to get going... UGH! So now I'm packing up the last stuff for my trip tonight and get to the airport to check in in a bit...

I need a nap and some more food...

I'll be back July 1st, but I'll check in now and again (probably not much between Wed-Tues but other than that I'll be around. I'm going to try to get the laptop working with the cell but I can't guarantee it will. I need the break, and I can't wait to see my family... but at the same time I feel like I should stay here and spend some time with Kevin... arrrr... oh well... time to get the last stuff together and head out. I live like 5 mins from the airport so I just go check in, come back home and then take a cab over.

The Los Angeles Public Library will not let you access Internet forums. At least that is what happened to me the last time I visited when my computer was trashed. I was able to access yahoo and retrieve my messages and send a few within the hour that I was allowed.

However, those Internet Cafes are very popular, although I have never been to one.
