Good morning everybody!
Such a joy to be home. I think the best thing about America is American food!
Thanks for praying for us while we were in Spain. Our three students could not possibly have behaved better- they were sweet, polite, good-humored, long-suffering, modestly-dressed. I was proud of them.
The basic smell permeating the entire nation of Spain is the aroma of ham. Spain smells like ham and citrus fruit. The low point of the trip for me was being quite sick the first three days with a very bad cough/sore throat. My husband prayed for me and I recovered completely. The BEST thing was buying a big green inner tube and riding the waves in the Mediterranean! Man that was fun!
I had a chance to do some thinking while I was away, and you might notice that I'm not a moderator any longer. No scandal or anything, just a re-ordering of priorities.
I am all outta whack as far as prayers go... time to get back to it!
I see that TAW has some new folks here interested in Orthodoxy. Hooray!
Love,
Xenia
