I understand the reasoning, but, wow. Last of all places I expected to not be able to fly a pro-life ribbon was "Christian Forums."

How utterly bizarre. Yes, of course being against against the murder of babies and old people is offensive, duh! Not only that, but being a Christian is offensive, too, as there are many here who choose to worship other gods. Better remove all crosses. Hmmm... I personally am offended by the godless teachings of Islam. Can we delete all references to it and the little symbols that the muslim members have? Nope, still no "Right to never be offended" or "Freedom from being offended" anywhere. Of course, they managed to find a "right to privacy" which doesn't exist and parlay that into abortion on demand, so I guess anything's possible.

Since we live apart and don't to completely get glued on the phone my husband and I talk a lot on AIM as well. We were talking about flowers for church (I'm bringing flowers for the altar and nave this weekend) and out of nowhere he says this :

its a great church, I find myself wanting to do stuff for them

its what church should be

He's already saying we're gonna drive up at least once a month after I move to VA. I hope the OCA church in Norfolk will give him as much joy. Right now he doesn't have time to start reading much, but hopefully that will change when he is done with training. Now his priority is to learn to be safe in the air, stay alive, and keep his crew alive. But I have a good feeling about him converting in the future... Please say a prayer for Kevin if you have a little slot...

We were "discussing" the Calvinist/Nestorian view of the Eucharist, and several of these posts appeared, without any discernable reference...
