Congrats Khaleas! What kind of dress did you get?

One of my friends is getting married in a couple weeks and she ordered a strapless gown. She also lost close to 50 pounds in the past six months, and her seamstress apparently doesn't understand what needs to be done--she is talking about letting the dress out. :o I told her to get David's Bridal on speed dial and to have some double-sided tape ready, just in case.

I hope this strapless thing is out of style by the time I ever walk down the aisle. Another friend who photographs weddings says that he misses lots of shots because the brides are jacking up their dresses. :o

I have some good news for you guys... a while ago I wrote a book about being a young person and a Christian and young people and Christianity in general... and it is being published by Paraclete Press this October. Dang, and now you show us... Has some very pretty dresses on it.
I kinda snuck a peak at Matushka's dress when I visited. It had sleeves but was cut a lot lower... as long as Father said ok (and I know he'd speak up) I was fine... I wouldn't have dreamed of not running a dress by him before buying...

I was lucky too, last week someone had asked him to do a wedding the same day as we are having ours... Phew! Now I just need to find at least a photographer (possibly a videographer if my mom doesn't have a heartattack from pricing before then) and a baker... then I'm done. At least for a little while...
