Thankyou Rafaela! :)

I got up and the world started spinning and I felt weak, so I decided a half hour drive would be a bad idea. Back lying down where the world doesn't spin it is :(

ugh, bummer. Lord have mercy on you!

Vertigo?

I have that. Have you gone through an ENG?

My ENT-Neurologist told me that vertigo can be allergy-mediated.
Getting allergies under control can stop the vertigo.
Even though I was given treatment through a physical therapist for Benign Positional Vertigo, it has come back during this allergy season.

 It's not fun. I get vertigo too but it's not just from allergies. I can get it with the fatigue, changes in blood pressure and allergies. It's just part of the illnesses. It can be frustrating and rather inconvenient.

Mine is similar to Colleen's - it can be caused by a lot of things. I think it's probably anaemia again, I have a prescription for blood tests so I'll get those done tomorrow and we'll see :) The bruise has almost gone away on my hand from the last iron infusion so it must be time! :p

Thankyou for the prayers and Anhelyna for the hugs. And please say a prayer for my safety - I'm less dizzy, but weak, and off to pick my parents up from the airport :) They're back from the beautiful Whitsundays and coming back to cold, windy and rainy Adelaide :p But we're going to MELBOURNE next week - no change in the weather (if anything they'll be worse) but there is SHOPPING :D :D :D

And I want to take them to the archdiocese Church there (not a Cathedral for some reason) - it's a converted methodist church, enormous and stunning. My Dad will love it :)

All went well. They drove home, which was good. So tired, and a sore neck, which is probably what's giving me vertigo (when my neck isn't properly aligned it squishes rather vital nerves). Physio tomorrow which will hopefully fix it!

Now I get to curl up with my books for the evening - Elder Paisios of Mt Athos, a gardening book A-Z of basically everything that will grow where I live, the Psalter for Prayer that just got published recently (it is so, so beautiful and my nameday present to myself) and Fr Lawrence Farley's commentary on St Mark's Gospel.

Happy Kyri the Ortho-geek!

Hahaha - they're pretty good, actually. This place specialises in people like me, so they're nice to us - I see them a minimum of three times a week, I have standard appointments every week. It hurts, but since I have chronic pain it's actually not a bad thing because I can take high pain levels and it feels SO GOOD when it stops. Like hitting your head against a wall I suppose... but more productive :)

Yes, I find physio along with other treatment helps for certain things.
