Well, we all know beer is popular here but what are some favorite cocktails? Recipes welcome! I love a good vodka martini. I prefer a 2:1 with a dry vermouth and dirty with a lot of olives.

Ah, I'm a lightweight when it comes to alcohol.

I somewhat enjoy strawberry or peach flavored wine coolers and frozen drinks?

And I once had a beer from a microbrewery in Napa that was very tasty. A dessert wine at a winery I toured there too, but I can't afford $100-$200 a bottle!

(Maybe it's not that I don't like alcohol but that I don't like CHEAP alcohol - but I still think I'm just a lightweight, lol.)

Kamikaze. simple and crazy good. just lime juice, triple sec, and vodka, in a 1 to 1 to 1 ratio.

My wife doesn't like the taste of most alcoholic drinks but I stumbled across one she likes. A full shot of gin, a splash of maraschino cherry juice and one can of ginger ale. Garnish with a few cherries and it is yummy.

I also like Smirnoff Ice green apple bite. I wish someone made a soda that tasted that good. Wow, that stuff is delicious.

Where were you, when my friend & I were 17, and trying to mix a pitcher of them without a recipe... By the time we got the proportions right, it no longer mattered

Someone did recommend a wine here on CF, and I made a note in my computer.

I seem to recall either chocolate or coffee flavor being involved.

But shipping costs are rather prohibitive, so I will need to wait to try it until I visit California lol, unless someone local here ever wants to order any.
