Going to Sacramento/San Francisco on a thurs-monday to go to a Nikon School Seminar (2 days) and to go to Theotokos Joy of All Who Sorrow Cathedral in Frisco to go for DL and to venerate St. John's relics.

Ahh... a good reason.

For a second I thought it was to try and show those Cali folks how to brew a proper alcoholic drink!


I'll be in San Francisco in late June.

Thanks! I'm totally pumped. It's like a whole dark and confusing period of my life is finally coming to a close and I have a direction again.

It was such a helpless feeling to be in my 30s and still not knowing what I wanted to be *when I grow up.* Ever since I quit ballet, there hasn't been anything I was passionate and serious about until now.

I know the feeling! I'm also feeling the need for a "change of direction" ( though I will always be a jack of all trades and Master of ...Theology ) and it seems the Lord is opening doors for me to get into EFL teaching. I just got A's for the essays I submitted for the first module of my TESOL Diploma, so I'm feeling really pumped about that!

I'm starting school next month to begin classes in nursing, meself. Seems like a lot of people are changing up careers nowadays. (Well, technically, I never did find a full-time position in my field...)

I think I will show them how to do just that while I am there! Although, Cali does have Stone Brewing, and they are masters at what they do!

Have a weightlifting competition in July. Considering going down a weight class (to the 105kg or 231# class). I'd have to be down about 20#. I have the weight to spare without getting too lean, but don't want to worry about performance. Maybe that will be a longer term goal. The downside of this is that I will have to miss vespers to go.

Yup. I used it for almost all of college, but when I moved back home, I had nothing but dialup Internet access, and I didn't have the patience to try to get my winmodems to work. When I moved out and got broadband access back, I went back to Linux. I finally decided to back up all of my data and totally delete my Win7 partition today, seeing as I haven't really done anything with it in weeks and I really love Linux...
