Would like to thank God for being so gracious and merciful in watching over me and Mrs. G in the tropical storm strength (80 mph) winds that hit our little burgh outside of The Burgh Friday night. Minor damage is just that compare to what COULD have happened and that would have been catastrophic! Glory to God for all good things!

I also send thanks to God for not being killed in this crazy storm. Glory to God!!!!!

My heavy old porch furniture blew off my porch and down the yard...not kidding. A neighbor 1 1/2 blocks away found my remaining chair and returned it today. My bathroom window was open a crack and the gusts tore off the interior shutter. Hard to believe!

Babies are supposed to sleep better as they get older. Why is mine not doing this? She was doing good for a couple of weeks, but now, it's like she's broken. A defective baby.

Poor Noah has to have 4 teeth pulled before he can get his braces on. His bottom teeth grew in very awkward..kind of like in rows like a shark's teeth. His very front two teeth are actually behind the rest of the teeth. So they are going to pull those dudes out of there, then file down his canines flat so you can't tell the front two are missing. Kind of a similar thing with the top teeth, only it's the canines getting pulled.

I am so tired that my eyes are aching. But I still have to take a Chemistry quiz, and I can't do that until Allie goes to bed for the night...and she took a late nap, so I have no idea when she will tucker out. She is squeeling happily at her teddy bear right now.

I got some paper today to use as backgrounds, and one to use as a faux wood floor. Here's one pic of the cloud paper. I'll show you the wood floor and blue wall one tomorrow. I tried a shoot with Allie today, but no dice. My light was terrible but I thought I could pull it off. I wish I had gone ahead with the flash. =( Oh well. At least the cloud ones with Kaylee turned out so-so, albeit not very sharp focus.

I try to take several shots while adjusting to a well lit focal point. Sometimes I even wind up happy with what I shot.
