How can you have a Catholic v. Orthodox thread? We ARE Catholic. Us vs. us? I presume the complaint here is that we're being lumped in with the Romans, which is, well, just dumb, if one knows anything about anything.
She'll sleep through the night soon enough. When they get older it's a struggle just to get them in bed.
Most of the time my sharpest pics are the ones that I wasn't trying very hard for (i.e. accidents).
I think some people have some kind of misunderstanding that one day the Orthodox and Rome will re-unite. It's not happening, no matter how much Rome, her followers or the ignorant media claim otherwise.
Also, this is dangerously close to on-topic discussion, and I'm much more interested in my plate of eggs and toast than discussing Rome.
That's an awesome pic! When I'm photographing people I focus on the eye that is closest to me, since there is more wiggle room behind the focal point than in front of it. That is easy enough with my older kids who will sit still for me and tolerate my endless picture-taking. But it is a huge challenge with the baby, who wants to come straight at me and grab the lens...or won't even look at me at all. LOL
