Just don't let it give you a case of the scruples. When I read it I was still Roman Catholic and I came away from it feeling like my soul needed a good scrubbing and as if my very thinking about anything was an incredible sin against God which would damn me for eternity.

I know! We had greek style bbq today for lunch - pilafi, yoghurt, pita, salad, sausages, chicken and keftedes (spelling/memory?) but done as patties instead. Mmmmmmmmmm. And baklava. What? It needs eating! Andrew had baklava for BREAKFAST!

I made croissants from scratch (it's a pretty long process) and they turned out absolutely phenomenal. Right out of a French bakery... buttery and flaky. Mmmm... I was so happy since it was the first time I tried it and our friends were going crazy over them.
One of the wives in the squadron where we used to be arranged a Mother's Day brunch for the wives with kids who have their husbands deployed. So we skipped church to go to that and support them and bring some good food (hubby made chocolate covered strawberries and I also had made stuffed grape tomatoes (stuffed with goat cheese with herbs and garlic).
