It is COLD here down under. Winter is definitely here, and it should still be late autumn! GRR.
But I had fish and salad and homemade cypriot bread and salad and baklava for dinner so it can't all be bad I love having dinner at Andrew's house, his Mum loves feeding me!

There's a footie final today - started 45 mins ago - Glasgow Rangers and Glasgow Celtic - HUGE thing - but for once I'm feeling sorry for the players - they will be drowned in this - spectators are largely under cover.

It's soccer - but up here it's definitely a religion - they have drafted in another 1000 police [ called ,in the vernacular . polis ] to deal with the aftermath

I had never heard soccer/football called footie so I didn't know if they were the same thing.
Sorry to say, but I much prefer American Football to Soccer/European Football.

Enjoying some time at home before I start work again on Monday. Looking forward to a lot of reading this summer now that I'm out of school. Picked up St. Augustine's Confessions for $1 at a bookstore sale, so it must be near the top of the list
