oh...okay. We have Tuesday mornings Liturgy here for OCF and Thursday I think Bible study meetings. The liturgy is way too early 7:30 am so that they are done by 9:15 to go to classes... A really nice idea for those who work on Sundays.

That is good then only 20 hours not bad at all... are you still busing tables though? Hope you are not a dishwasher still...
Heavens no!

I've gone up to cooking pizzas! We have two kinds of cooks: pizza cooks and pasta cooks. The pasta cooks tend to be a little more paranoid since most of the time there is just one pasta cook while us pizza cooks are a little more laid back since there's usually at least five of us.

Nope, I've given up those bussing and dishwashing days. The advantage to the bussing, was I got tips and moved around the whole restaurant. The disadvantages were I was paid minimum wage ($8.07 in this state) and only scheduled about fifteen hours a week. Dishwashing I recommend for only the crazy or demented. Forty hours a week of people throwing stuff at ya, demanding things get washed and not speaking to you whatsoever (but the pay was $9.00 an hour).

I'm happier cooking. I get $9.50 an hour and work with people so we socialize while we cook. Plus we sometimes mess with the servers.:p

ROFL it's only 0730 here :p

How's the heat...I'll trade ya...I'm FREEZING:bbrr::frozen2:

The heat? It disappeared a few weeks ago. It is in the 70s here during the day and gets down to the 30s at night. I, stupidly, only brought a few sweatshirts with me. Seemed like the thing to do as it was 120 when I arrived. lol.

Try currants

I might do that. Right now I have crushed blackberries, blueberries and raspberries and mixed them into one of my last remaining bottles of the first batch of Dopplebock that I made to see if any of those work well with it.

Ok, here it goes, I tried each of the three in my own Dopplebock and then tried a fourth with pure vanilla in it. My wife and I agree with Vanilla Dopplebock is awesome. It starts out tasting like Dopplebock and then finishes with just enough vanilla to make it very interesting. That is one I will definitely have to experiment with. The blueberry Dopplebock was tasty and I liked the blackberry Dopplebock as well, although Mrs. G found it a bit tart. I will definitely experiment with both of those as well. The raspberry Dopplebock was too tart and not tasty at all, and that one is a giant NICHT!
