That's why only tourists are excited about queuing for hours to see just that small painting. LDV should have painted a bigger one.

I was only 16 at the time and didn't know it was so small. I did get to see an DaVinci exhibit in Speyer, Germany in 1996 when I visited Darmstadt for a month. I still have the catalog to the exhibit and even though it is in German and I have not actively spoken German with anyone in ages it is still a great book.

though is has to be admitted I always knew that phrase from my youth - pre Flood of course - as

" What's yours is mine , and what's mine's me own "

I just finished carving a wooden spinning top! It's my first wood carving without using a pattern - and it works! As of now - the record spinning time is 8 seconds. I know there are some slight differences that I will need to smooth out before it can spin longer (this is carved without having any tools other than a carving knife - otherwise it'd be easier)

Anyways - I was excited and figured I'd share

There are some things which Michael does NOT share, not even with the wife. Paintbrushes tend to be at the top of that list. If she wants to paint she has to get her own brushes. Before everyone gives me an evil look over that statement there are some things the wife does not share with me either. Chocolate fudge and Peanut M&Ms tend to be at the top of that list. I guess I am not the only one who needs to learn the whole "ours" concept, eh?

Anyways, she is not a possession. Atleast not of mine. The puppy Ruutu might think my wife is a posession of hers however! Ruutu has Mrs. G wrapped completely arround her paw!
