Have you considered giving up the pipe and cigar during Great Lent?
If so, you do have my prayers and good wishes.

My hubbie gave up smoking two packs cold turkey.
It was hard, especially when he was around those who smoked.

I don't do pipes, and as for cigars, I smoke only about 1 per week. As for giving things up for Lent, I have a rough enough time with the fast the Church has prescribed for me let alone adding to it.

Hi all Giving up things for Lent.. hmmm struggling along as some of us feeling fainty for some time now.

Oh I wish I would eat cheese and not feeling guilty... but I do .. then again it is better than having meat.... right? oh. well I'd rather feel okay and break the fast than "go flat on my face". One of us in this family does not do well by the second week of the fast... This year it is me... The other two are doing great...

We met this weekend at the Icon Festival and it was alot of fun. What can 2 iconographers talk about? LOL! Icons, icon heresies, beer, star wars, etc.
But when Jenn the Finn comes to visit me in a month or so Nutroll will come out to meet her as well.

Hey Michael! Did I tell you that I finally quit smoking? My last cigarette was last JUNE!!! Almost a year ago. I used Chantix to help me quit. After about three weeks of Chantix, I was smoke-free!
