I just finished a math lesson, on the phone in conference call with about five? I think other students and the teacher, working from workbooks that have the examples shown in steps and a textbook for exercises.

Now I'm just rediscovering my desk so I don't have to keep working from my bed

Blah, stuck in Houston with a delayed flight. After all the sitting on airport floors this long weekend I think my rear is square at this point.... I'm ready for my own soft comfy and warm bed.
Now I just have to hope that I don't scare our friend who is staying at our house and get karate chopped or something (he's got a few black belts in different martial arts LOL).
Tomorrow I get my pooches back and hubs should be home in just under two weeks. YAY!

Sitting here enjoying the silence after spending all day at train, bus and planes and in airport... My ears are overloaded and not too thrilled about the pressure changes... Still happy to be home and now I just have to wait for hubs to get home too... but first my mom and brother will come.

My mom confuses me. she's like "If you were too sick to go to school EARLIER TODAY IN THE MORNING, you are too sick RIGHT NOW AT NIGHT to be on the computer. So watch TV. Now." She is forcing me to get off the computer and watch TV. I hate TV.

I love my mom... she's so awesome... in that special, confusing sort of way.

BMW, I must say I'm a little jealous.

My husband and I wanted to see it but it started clouding up here around 7ish central time. It was supposed to occur around 7:45 our time. Our 2 1/2 yr old daughter loves to see the moon when it's out at night. We hoped she could get to see it too.

I saw parts of the eclipse, but was too busy to just sit and watch it, so I missed most of it even though it was a really clear night.
