OK, I'm heading to bed... tomorrow I leave for a long weekend on the left (ahem, west coast)... to see my dearest. Haven't seen him for over a month and he'll be gone for another 2 weeks after I get back so I'm looking forward to it. Don't know how much I'll check in this weekend, but I'm not anticipating it to be much.

I've got so sick of not doing anything here at home, so I decided to go ahead and finish my senior year, by correspondence. So I've got my final three subjects to do now - math, sociology, and australian history.
(our school year starts in late jan/early feb)

The joke theme. Forgive me as I am in PDA mode and don't have access to all tools here. But no, I read you loud and clear! Unfortunately there are folks about that hold certain 'differing opinions' to us, but rather than be open and voice the opinion, they hide behind a pretense to tow the accepted line, and would make light of or fun of something/ someone they disapprove of or dislike and attribute it to a 'joke'. I know some 'friends' who are just like that, and I think I know what you're getting at.
If at all possible, avoid such friends like the Plague, otherwise be careful of what you discuss when they are present.

I was talking to my Sunday School Kids about "Jokes" last weekend, the point of my preaching was to remind them that everytime they say something it becomes permanent in the world and it is important to think about what you are going to say and what they consequences are before saying it.

Hi all my friends

As there is a so called Energy Crises (Shortage of Electricity) in our country, I'm having two LP Gas Fire places installed in the house this week. We're on a municipal gas line (Natural Gas) but their waiting list is too long to install the Gas meters, I've opted to go with LP (Liquid Propane gas.) The cylinders are easily replaceable and the fires will work before winter sets in.

I called this a 'so called' crises, as I think it was just a way to get the citizens to diversify their energy sources. There are in fact many coal power stations in moth balls.
