CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So the well people finally got here at 6pm! After they put in the new pump we loaded the first part of 1.5 days of dishes and left to go get some burgers to eat in the van. When we got back the new pump had burnt out! We're hoping our well hasn't gone dry like some peoples has because of all the natural gas drilling that's been going on around here.
So dh just took 2 out of 6 kids to a hotel to get showers, then we'll go back and forth till everyone's lost their grunge.
You never know how much your life revolves around water till it's gone! Making coffee or tea, drinking water, washing hands, brushing teeth, washing clothes and dishes, cleaning the kitchen counter, flushing potties, filling water ballons, etc. This is really cramping my style. I hate to see bought water going down the drain.
Lord have mercy.

I thought about that as I pushed post. But it's probably fast-friendly.
However, a lot of junk food is and that seems to defeat the purpose of fasting a bit.
