CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Anyone want to make some more coffee?
I've got one sick kid (not as sick as he is pretending) home from school, one that is too little to be in school and keeps pooping on my bathroom floor
,... and to top it all off I have to work tonight.
I need a cafeine IV and I am almost out of coffee.

I don't know, must be something in the water with kids. My 8 year old daughter has been terrible the last few days!!!! At least at home, anyway. I went to her school today to take something for my oldest daughter and saw my 8 year old's teacher in the hall. The teacher told me that my 8 year old was being very good.

my son is 5 and he started school last monday...it's kinda nice to have the house all to myself during the day...

I homeschooled my son.
It was kind of nice to have him home, especially when I heard of school shootings, etc.
