I've got one sick kid (not as sick as he is pretending) home from school, one that is too little to be in school and keeps pooping on my bathroom floor ,... and to top it all off I have to work tonight.

I need a cafeine IV and I am almost out of coffee.

I don't know, must be something in the water with kids. My 8 year old daughter has been terrible the last few days!!!! At least at home, anyway. I went to her school today to take something for my oldest daughter and saw my 8 year old's teacher in the hall. The teacher told me that my 8 year old was being very good.

Sounds like he needs a nap. I always told my kids that when they were little, and became cranky. Usually, that was it. When I got cranky, I said the same thing, "I need a nap!" That always worked with me too, amazingly.

Maybe it a "7" thing. My son is also 7 and has been like that all summer. This is the first year that I was glad that school is starting.

my son is 5 and he started school last monday...it's kinda nice to have the house all to myself during the day...

I homeschooled my son.

It was kind of nice to have him home, especially when I heard of school shootings, etc.
