And the funniest thing of all... One of the monks invited my friend who is a NUN to come to Mt Athos. Ummmm, I think he has missed some of the rules. She was kinda laughing at it and the translator said again that he wanted her to come and embroider for them.

They'll just keep her on a ferry boat a few hundred metres off the coast of the peninsular. Apparently there are times where they take the hand of St Mary Magdalen out on a boat so that women have an opportunity to venerate her relics, which they obviously cannot do when it is at the monastery of Simonopetra. I'd love to take my daughter one time as she has a great love for St Mary

I wish they would do that with my saint's relics. Hers are in Zographou, IIRC.

LOL, there's always something that keeps you from getting a lot done on days when you seemingly have the time to do it!!! I know there's alway something on my days off that gets in the way of getting a lot done. Taking a long nap is a good thing, though, because you need rest, too.

Yes. I've enjoyed the quiet today. I did get some housework done early this morning though. My son will be getting home from school soon...then my daughter an hour later so I still have a little bit of time to relax before the wild ones return.

Apple and peach trees are so pretty when they bloom!!! My uncle in Georgia had a peach tree and it was just so pretty !!!

Ok, as promised here are my bonsai peach trees. My uncles did a very strange job pruning them!
