Depends how you like it. Everybody in my family drinks it black, but I've been to friends who make it really really sweet.

Ever been in a soccer riot? I was in Germany in '90 when the Germans won the World Cup in Soccer and while there were no punches being thrown, it was a riot. Drunken Germans everywhere, waving flags, the streets were undrivable because all of the people were out in the streets, fireworks, car horns being blown (a big no-no in Germany) and lots of craziness. It was actually alot of fun!

I was at Oktoberfest there, and it was the same thing, sounds like.

Ok, I think I've gotten a new definition of grace. Haven't checked it yet but right there in the dictionary must be a picture of Bishop Kallistos. WOW! Was even able to listen to a lecture by him on Confession. After the lecture I went up to recieve a blessing and speak with him for a brief moment. We were all sitting there nipping ourselves. i have some brief notes and quotes that I'll write out soon and post. Bishop Paul of the exarchate was also here.

Ok, and for the monks of Mount Athos.... They don't walk a foot off the ground. They all have digital cameras, business cards, credit cards and cell phones. They answer their phones at any time (one went off in the altar and he walked out to talk). One of the Archimandrites keep playing jokes on the others and apparently has a wide selection of jokes. They all wanted to go swimming because they are not allowed to at Mt Athos. They have some seriously icon worthy beards and a mean chant.

And the funniest thing of all... One of the monks invited my friend who is a NUN to come to Mt Athos. Ummmm, I think he has missed some of the rules. She was kinda laughing at it and the translator said again that he wanted her to come and embroider for them.
