Google Stone Brewing Company.. look up the ale with the word "arrogant" in the title.... good stuff!!
I've been wanting to try that particular yeast byproduct if I get the chance. I haven't yet figured out whether it is available here in Oz though

Hey folks!!!
I'm finally home. I got in yesterday afternoon but I was really tired and we just got food and went to bed and then sleep. It's good to be home.
I'll be pretty busy next week, getting this house back in order but I'll be checking in.

Redneck, there is only one team in the NFL, the rest are all just pretenders. The Steelers are THE team in the NFL! :D

I don't mind the Steelers...if it weren't for the Steelers my Fantasy Football team wouldn't be the same...

Welcome Home Jenn! I had thought about coming out to the air show today, but when I saw the line of traffic headed out there on my way home from church, I changed my mind. They were backed up on 264 for what seemed like a mile!

Glad you're back safely, and hope you and Kevin had a good time at the air show!

What you do is take the other First Colonial exit and make a U turn. The only reason for the backup is that there is a light and no right turn on red at the exit. After that it's a straight shot.
We actually ended up leaving at 2 because the guy that took over was all geared up to stay til the end and pack up. I was quite overheated at that point and happy to leave. Now I'm gonna take a nap and then clean some... and of course we went to Gordon Biersch on our way home... LOL, we went there last night too. Such dorks, such dorks...

Fasouli Gigantes

1 huge can o' giant beans (butter beans almost work as well)

1 can of original Rotel

1 large onion

2 cloves garlic

2 Tbsp. good olive oil

2 Tbsp. Greek oregano

1 Tbsp. cinnamon

2 tsp. chipotle powder (or hot smoke paprika, Spanish style)

In a large pot, saute the onion and garlic (chopped) until translucent. Add Rotel, oregano, cinnamon, and chipotle; stir until incorporated, and dump in the beans. Stir again until well mixed.

Dump the whole thing into a large glass (flat kind) baking dish, and bake at 350 degrees until most of the liquid has been absorbed (about 40 minutes). Enjoy!

Hey! I made kibbi for the first time tonight (for those of you who've heard tell of this meaty mediterranean treat).

It wasn't as good as my grandmother's, or my aunt's, or my cousin's... but I made it myself and was pretty happy about that! My son agreed that I did an OK job on my first try. I love the little patties so much that practicing until I make them perfectly will NOT be a problem!

And in the process, another box of Hamburger Helper was spared.
