I wanted to go this morning, but after having three days off of work last week (I should have taken them THIS week!) I couldn't take any more time out of my office. Next year I'll plan a little better for this. The only feast day I've been able to share in at church was Sts. Peter & Paul.

I have some major work to do in my garden/yard on the week-end. We have been making major changes in the yard over the past two years. It will all be worth it though. We have over 10,000 sq. ft. to our yard, and that's a lot (about 1/4 acre) for us. I'm too old for too much digging with shovels!! But we do it anyway.

I went to a different parish than usual... it was nice, for a change, not being the only one wearing a scarf. And I brought home all kinds of nice-smelling herbs for my icon corner. I identified one as rosemary. They go nicely with the dried bay leaf from Holy Saturday.
