Well I have to admit Michael - that I'm glad you are seeing sense.
I know a Priest of the GOA who has got an Intel Mac for all his graphic work and is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy with it .
I positivley enjoy my new MacBook - reccommend it highly AND the new ones [ ssssssssssssh can be set up to used Windoze ]

Howdy, y'all! I can't believe I'm here!! I'm on dial-up for now, which really stinks! We're still waiting for the technicians to come look at the telephone pole. Husband says "no heavy lifting" with the dial-up, which means no updating my podcasts and probably not much activity here. This is so much slower than I'm used to. We should have workmen out by Wednesday. Poor husband is going crazy. He's been on-call this week and had to go to a late night coffee shop with wi-fi to fix the work problem.

I've always liked the designs of the Apple laptops, but it has always been a case of underpowered and overpriced. I've also seen my fair share of crashes in Apple computers (having provided support for both PC's and Macs). I'll stick with the more economical option thankyou

I've always preferred PC's, myself. I love my Macs! Granted, I've never had to use Windows, so I have nothing to compare. Before we had the Macs, we used Linux, before Linux, we used OS2, before that (and before husband)I used the community college computers, which ran on DOS. I'm signing up for a bunch of Mac classes at the Maryland school of Art and Design this semester. Should be lots of fun!
