no, actually the puppies have whined for three hours for some odd reason and I gave up, actually talked to my husband when he went to sleep (he'll be back from Cali Friday night YAY) and came downstairs to give them some extra snuggles. Ham is chewing his bone now and Barnes is curled up next to me and asleep. So I guess I'll lock them back up in a bit and get some sleep. Got lots to do tomorrow...

Boy am I dumb. I set one of my alarm clocks an hour early today.

When I mess up my alarm, it's because I set it for PM instead of AM. I hate it when I do that. If I wake up late, it seems to make the rest of my day feel all out of whack.

Our cat will not tolerate us sleeping in.

He paws our door and wakes us just as promptly as an alarm clock.

When I hurt my back in a bus accident, two weeks later I was really in pain. So, don't delay because the pain might get worse.

Spent afternoon in ER and they said there is a muscle strain there, and the possibility of a slipped disk.

I'm praying for you. You can buy a heating pad at the drugstore that you can heat up in the microwave, and it is moist heat (you do not have to add water, for it collects it from the air), and that really feels good to a sore muscle, or pain in the back.

My cats do that. They are so impatient if you don't move immediately and let them in/out! Yet will they move quickly when they are in your way?? nope... the varmints...

I should do that. I think I will go get one in the am. I was given a muscle relaxer and Tylenol 3 w/codeine, but the T3 isn't doing much for the pain.

Check with a doctor first. Lately, most doctors and physical therapists recommend cold ice packs first to keep the swelling down.

Heat, although it may feel better, could cause problems.
