"Then Jesus said to them, “Do you NOT understand THIS parable? Then HOW will you UNDERSTAND ANY of the PARABLES?
1f631.png

The farmer sows the word. Some are like the seeds along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, SATAN comes and TAKES AWAY the word that was SOWN IN THEM.

Others are like the seeds sown on rocky places. They hear the word and at once receive it with joy. But they themselves have NO ROOT, and they remain for only a season. When TROUBLE or PERSECUTION comes BECAUSE of the word, they QUICKLY FALL AWAY.

Still others are like the seeds sown among the thorns. They hear the word, but the CARES of THIS LIFE the DECEITFULNESS of WEALTH, and the DESIRE for OTHER THINGS come in and choke the word, and it becomes UNFRUITFUL.

Yet others are like the seeds sown on good soil. They hear the word, receive it, and produce a crop—thirtyfold, sixtyfold, or a hundredfold.” Mark 4:13-20

Mammon leads to a serving of "self" rather than God.

"God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs" Matthew 5:3 (NLT)

"Dear friends, I warn you as "temporary residents and foreigners" to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls" 1 Peter 2:11 (NLT)

Behavioural Holiness and Purity. Repentance. Heart/Mind condition first. Not an appearance condition.

These come from the Holy Spirit's Power dwelling in the heart. They do not come from human asceticism (severe self-discipline and avoidance of all forms of indulgence, typically for religious reasons). Let's not strain a gnat and swallow a camel (focus on little errors/details, and miss the bigger and far more important picture).

"Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:13-16

The Effeminate spirit is a deceitful spirit. 1 Timothy 4:1

Effeminate- (of a man) having or showing characteristics regarded as typical of a woman; unmanly.

The effeminate spirit - deceitful spirit. A woman teaching sound doctrine in sound mind is better than effeminate men teaching.

Women defend the effeminate spirit of man because it's like them, sensitive and emotional. Therefore, it MUST be right...
1f644.png
This is eternal life...it's not Que sera, sera (whatever will be will be)...

The best way to grow a ministry is by way of flattery to gain an advantage. The Effeminate spirit knows this well. Jude 1:16

The effeminate spirit loves to offer lip-service to compassion. We love in deed and Truth, not word or in tongue. 1 John 3:18

The effeminate spirit targets those who have itching ears and are tired of listening to 'hard words' and 'condemnation' 2 Timothy 4:3

I like a loud, 'accusational', and fiery Preacher who preaches the Word because I know He can at least be trusted!

We really went downhill, when personal 'experience' became sound doctrine, rather than the Word of God.

Here we find BIBLICAL evidence that man's BELIEF or FAITH does not appoint positions to people in Heaven.

Even the Lord Jesus Christ did not make such brash claims while He was with His disciples.

I believe the vast majority of modern evangelicalism remains ignorant in regard to Sound Doctrine.

I also believe that the words FAITH and BELIEF have been used as a misnomer, thereby leading many into a strong delusion. This..stemming from biblical illiteracy and neglect of serious Bible study.

"Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Jesus and declared, “Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask.”

“What is it you want Me to do for you?” He inquired.

They answered, “Grant that one of us may sit at Your right hand and the other at Your left in Your glory.”

“You do not know what you are asking,” Jesus replied. “Can you drink the cup I will drink, or be baptized with the baptism I will undergo?”

“We can,” they answered.

“You will drink the cup that I drink,” Jesus said, “and you will be baptized with the baptism I undergo. But to sit at My right or My left is not Mine to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared.”

On hearing this, the ten became indignant with James and John. So Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those regarded as rulers of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and their superiors exercise authority over them. But it shall not be this way among you.

Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be the slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:35-45

Some foundations are unrefined like clay, wood, or straw. Some are refined and strong like gold, silver, precious stones. Fire.

Some have been refined and tempered to withstand the pressure of their ministry. Other's, they cannot withstand the heat. Fire.

The Day of Judgement will test and reveal every man's work by fire. For some reward. Others, barely escaping.

Some foolish builders may build their entire lives, and receive no reward, only barely saving their own souls.

Cross-examination of a ministry's doctrine is not persecution, but accountability. Rejecting accountability..is not persecution.

"Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the heart" Proverbs 21:2

"I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word [as an official messenger]; be ready when the time is right and even when it is not [keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable, whether convenient or inconvenient, whether welcome or unwelcome]; correct [those who err in doctrine or behavior], warn [those who sin], exhort and encourage [those who are growing toward spiritual maturity], with inexhaustible patience and [faithful] teaching.

For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold, and will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable]. But as for you, be clear-headed in every situation [stay calm and cool and steady], endure every hardship [without flinching], do the work of an evangelist, fulfill [the duties of] your ministry.

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure [from this world] is at hand and I will soon go free. I have fought the good and worthy and noble fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith [firmly guarding the gospel against error]. In the future there is reserved for me the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that [great] day—and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and longed for and welcomed His appearing." 2 Timothy 4:1-8 (AMP)

"The pastor builds—the preacher tears.
The pastor counsels—the preacher convicts.
The pastor rejoices—the preacher weeps.
The pastor plants—the preacher uproots.
The pastor teaches—the preacher preaches.
The pastor mends—the preacher breaks.
The pastor is full of hope—the preacher is full of fire.
The pastor loves to listen—the preacher needs to speak.
The pastor sees the good in others—the preacher sees the depravity in man.
The pastor desires to be among the people—the preacher desires to be alone with God"

Everyone has all the gifts of the Spirit...there are no special snowflakes. It's the power of the Holy Spirit. Just obedience by faith.

"Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father." John 14:12

"nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.” Luke 17:21

"While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the interior and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers?”

“No,” they answered, “we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

“Into what, then, were you baptized?” Paul asked.

“The baptism of John,” they replied.

Paul explained: “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the One coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”

On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. There were about twelve men in all." Acts 19:1-7

If you were to give an anointing of power to someone, would you give it to the lazy worker of the field or the hard worker?

If you were to promote someone as an impartial Judge, would you promote the faithful servant or the wicked servant?

As the Supreme Judge, would you grant more power to a rebellious flock of sheep or a faithful flock of sheep? Justice.

This word is spot on. "soulish emotional religious gymnastics."...seared consciences. This is the result of compassion, comfort, and encouragement with no convicting power or presence of the Word of the Lord. You get a very isolated paradigm of love!
1f643.png

"SENSITIVITY OR SENSUALITY?

DON'T LET RELIGION DESENSITIZE YOU!!!

RELIGION with a "form of godliness but denying the power thereof" will cause believers to eventually lose all spiritual sensitivity, opening the door to all kinds of temptation and sin.

"Having lost all sensitivity ('being past feeling' in the KJV), they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more." Ephesians 4:19 NIV.

This is really why we are seeing more believers in the church yielding to immorality.

And this is why the convicting power and presence of God must be in our services - in our times of prayer and worship, and in the preaching of God's Word.

The enemy's strategy is "DESENSITIZATION" through RELIGION.

This is why it seems to take more and more "hype" and "priming the pump" to get believers to praise the Lord and to engage in worship.

Sooner or later the Holy Spirit is no longer involved or present, and all that is left is "soulish emotional religious gymnastics."
That becomes a very dangerous place to be in. Because if one is not delivered from that place, a seared conscience can eventually result.

I believe a fresh wind of the Spirit is beginning to blow to bring about an "awakening of a remnant" that has been trapped in religion and is seriously hungry for relationship with the Lord - a remnant passionate to worship God in Spirit and in Truth.

"And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?" Luke 17:17

"Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

"Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked"

Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.

He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes" 1 John 2:3-11

'Fear comes from the enemy'...half-truths...test 'prophets'..Word says to test the spirits, not the people...Spirit of Truth. Godly fear comes out of an intimate relationship with God. Sometimes prophets CAN get really 'heady' and start to prophesy lies from 'self'...especially if they're married.

"I want you to be free from concern. The unmarried man is concerned about the work of the Lord, how he can please the Lord. But the married man is concerned about the affairs of this world, how he can please his wife, and his interests are divided. The unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the work of the Lord, how she can be holy in both body and spirit. But the married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world, how she can please her husband. I am saying this for your own good, not to restrict you, but in order to promote proper decorum and undivided devotion to the Lord." 1 Corinthians 7:32-34

When founded on the rock (Christ), there is no feeling of perdition, only conviction or thankfulness. Joyful day. Here's a bit of knowledge.
1f607.png

Perdition- (in Christian theology) a state of eternal punishment and damnation into which a sinful and unpenitent person passes after death.

Conviction-

1. a formal declaration that someone is guilty of a criminal offense, made by the verdict of a jury or the decision of a judge in a court of law.

2. a firmly held belief or opinion.

Condemnation-

1. the expression of very strong disapproval; censure.

2. the action of condemning someone to a punishment; sentencing.

Prophesying/Prophecy is when you give sensible utterance of God's Word fluidly and in a unique and unscripted way. It is impossible to do this without an extensive command of the Scriptures through intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

"Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification" 1 Corinthians 14:1-5

"For we did not follow cleverly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice from the Majestic Glory said to Him, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” And we ourselves heard this voice from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

We also have the message of the prophets, which has been confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to this message, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from the prophet’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever brought about through human initiative, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit." 2 Peter 1:16-21

"Day after day every priest stands to minister and to offer again and again the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this Priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God. Since that time, He waits for His enemies to be made a footstool for His feet, because by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are sanctified.

The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First He says:

“This is the covenant I will make with them
after those days, says the Lord.
I will put My Laws in their hearts
and inscribe them on their minds.”
Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.”
And where these have been forgiven, an offering for sin is no longer needed" Hebrews 10:11-18

"“For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." Luke 6:43-45
